How to deactivate/disable the webcam module auto-spawn in Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty)

If you don't like the default web cam auto-spawn behavior in Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty), you should modify your /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf:
echo -e '# my modifications\nblacklist gspca_m5602\nblacklist gspca_main' >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

...was the solution for my Lenovo 3000 V200. You should replace gspca_main resp. gspca_m5602 by webcam modules in your notebook. You can get a clue for the name of your web cam module reviewing this overview site.
